William F. Sansone

Prior to entering private practice, Bill worked at the State Attorney’s office in Hillsborough County for three years.  While there, he prosecuted thousands of felony and misdemeanor cases, ranging from DUI to attempted second-degree murder.  He tried numerous jury trials and conducted hundreds of motion hearings. Now, Bill focuses on criminal defense in both state and federal courts.

Bill served as a law clerk for the Honorable Charles R. Wilson, United States Circuit Judge, Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Honorable Susan C. Bucklew, United States District Court.  During this time, he gained extensive insight into the federal court system from the Court’s perspective.

Bill also has extensive experience in the civil arena, when he worked for Hill Ward Henderson, P.A.  While at Hill Ward, he represented clients such as, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company and Bank of America.

Bill is a regular guest on the ASK THE DOM SHOW on 102.5 FM, and makes appearances on the MIKE CALTA SHOW.

Outside of the office, Bill participates in triathlons and open water swimming competitions.  He is currently training for the Swim Around Key West and the Alcatraz Swim.
